Great Is His Majesty,Power and Might! I bow down and I worship His name!

psalm 93 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

psalm 94:17-19 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

psalm 96: O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.

Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

Honor and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Trust Amid the Silence

"He answered her not a word" (Matt. 15:23).

"He will be silent in his love" (Zeph. 3:17).

It may be a child of God is reading these words who has had some great crushing sorrow, some bitter disappointment, some heart-breaking blow from a totally unexpected quarter. You are longing for your Master's voice bidding you "Be of good cheer," but only silence and a sense of mystery and misery meet you --"He answered her not a word."

God's tender heart must often ache listening to all the sad, complaining cries which arise from our weak, impatient hearts, because we do not see that for our own sakes He answers not at all or otherwise than seems best to our tear-blinded, short-sighted eyes.

The silences of Jesus are as eloquent as His speech and may be a sign, not of His disapproval, but of His approval and of a deep purpose of blessing for you.

"Why art thou cast down, O…soul?" Thou shalt yet praise Him, yes, even for His silence. Listen to an old and beautiful story of how one Christian dreamed that she saw three others at prayer. As they knelt the Master drew near to them.

As He approached the first of the three, He bent over her in tenderness and grace, with smiles full of radiant love and spoke to her in accents of purest, sweetest music.

Leaving her, He came to the next, but only placed His hand upon her bowed bead, and gave her one look of loving approval.

The third woman He passed almost abruptly without stopping for a word or glance. The woman in her dream said to herself, "How greatly He must love the first one, to the second He gave His approval, but none of the special demonstrations of love He gave the first; and the third must have grieved Him deeply, for He gave her no word at all and not even a passing look.

"I wonder what she has done, and why He made so much difference between them?" As she tried to account for the action of her Lord, He Himself stood by her and said: "O woman! how wrongly hast thou interpreted Me. The first kneeling woman needs all the weight of My tenderness and care to keep her feet in My narrow way. She needs My love, thought and help every moment of the day. Without it she would fail and fall.

"The second has stronger faith and deeper love, and I can trust her to trust Me however things may go and whatever people do.

"The third, whom I seemed not to notice, and even to neglect, has faith and love of the finest quality, and her I am training by quick and drastic processes for the highest and holiest service.

"She knows Me so intimately, and trusts Me so utterly, that she is independent of words or looks or any outward intimation of My approval. She is not dismayed nor discouraged by any circumstances through which I arrange that she shall pass; she trusts Me when sense and reason and every finer instinct of the natural heart would rebel;--because she knows that I am working in her for eternity, and that what I do, though she knows not the explanation now, she will understand hereafter.

"I am silent in My love because I love beyond the power of words to express, or of human hearts to understand, and also for your sakes that you may learn to love and trust Me in Spirit-taught, spontaneous response to My love, without the spur of anything outward to call it forth."

He "will do marvels" if you will learn the mystery of His silence, and praise Him, for every time He withdraws His gifts that you may better know and love the Giver. --Selected

    Todays doings and thoughts

    It was all sunshiny and warm the best for drying laundry
    I had alot to wash because it has been so rainy and our power went out over the week end.
    I went through all my clothes kept the ones I want, and washed the dirty ones. I cleaned my room (something I had been working on for the past week:) It is so spick and span now I hope it stays this way for awhile! I have been working on the sock for my brother I have the toe done and I'm working on the instep. I am also working on making some yarn with the wool I dyed.

    These are some thoughts that have been on my heart:

    Recently someone said "I don't know what I'm going to get!"

    I feel like this all the time. I get in my head so many thoughts
    and ideas on what I think my beloved will be. I get so concerned and worried over what I am going to get and not get in him. and when I am going to get! I am tired of all this, I am done with it and when I heard someone else express these same feelings in the above quoted eight words,
    a thought came into my mind that has changed me forever:

    I don't need to worry about what I am going to get. The Lord has already prepared the right one for me. Before God formed me in the womb God knew me, before I was born He sanctified me!
    I have decided to care about who my future husband is going to get.

    I have put my hand in my shepherd's, He is leading me on! I am going forth with Jesus!I am putting my hands to the plow,I am not looking back from where I have begun. I will keep my eyes on Jesus Christ not the things of this world.
    I will remember my first love for Him!

    This is I psalm that I love to sing to my maker:

    O LORD, You have searched me and known me.
    You know my sitting down and my rising up;
    You understand my thought afar off.
    You comprehend my path and my lying down,
    And are acquainted with all my ways.
    For there is not a word on my tongue,
    But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether.
    You have hedged me behind and before,
    And laid Your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
    It is high, I cannot attain it.
    Where can I go from Your Spirit?
    Or where can I flee from Your presence?
    If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
    If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
    If I take the wings of the morning,
    And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
    Even there Your hand shall lead me,
    And Your right hand shall hold me.
    If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,”
    Even the night shall be light about me;
    Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You,
    But the night shines as the day;
    The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
    For You formed my inward parts;
    You covered me in my mother’s womb.
    I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    Marvelous are Your works,
    And that my soul knows very well.
    My frame was not hidden from You,
    When I was made in secret,
    And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
    Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
    And in Your book they all were written,
    The days fashioned for me,
    When as yet there were none of them.
    How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
    How great is the sum of them!
    If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
    When I awake, I am still with You.
    Search me, O God, and know my heart;
    Try me, and know my anxieties;
    And see if there is any wicked way in me,
    And lead me in the way everlasting.

    Here I am , Lord

    I, the Lord of sea and sky,
    I have heard my people cry.
    All who dwell in dark and sin,
    My hand will save.
    I, who made the stars of night,
    I will make their darkness bright.
    Who will bear my light to them?
    Whom shall I send?

    Here am I, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
    I have heard you calling in the night.
    I will go, Lord, where you lead me.
    I will hold your people in my heart.

    I, the Lord of snow and rain,
    I have borne my people’s pain.
    I have wept for love of them.
    They turn away
    I will break their hearts of stone,
    Give them hearts for love alone.
    I will speak my words to them.
    Whom shall I send?

    Here am I, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
    I have heard you calling in the night.
    I will go, Lord,where you lead me.
    I will hold your people in my heart.

    I, the Lord of wind and flame,
    I will tend the poor and lame.
    I will set a feast for them.
    My hand will save.
    Finest bread I will provide,
    'Til their hearts be satisfied.
    I will give my life to them.
    Whom shall I send?

    Here am I, Lord. Is it I, Lord?
    I have heard you calling in the night.
    I will go, Lord, where you lead me.
    I will hold your people in my heart.

    Me and my sis are going to do a facial steam with herbs. The tea kettle is whistling on the cookstove so I going to go now. Sorry for not posting for awhile, I just needed to take a break!
    I tell how the f.s. worked out ... bye

    ... ok it's done!
    It feels really good,
    it's always so fun to do stuff like this with my sisters sometimes we do this herbal hair goo thing. we have to find a time when our brothers aren't here to laugh at us ! because we do look very funny! ha!
    here are some pics :

    this is what happened while .... " ouch! I stuck my nose in the water ! I hope I don't git a blister!" I did ! Oh no I thought this was all for clearing up my face!:) now I have a little blister on the tippy top of my nose!

    Here is the recipe that we used:

    The simplest way to use herbs for your skin is in the form of a facial steam. Facial steams are useful for opening the pores, cleansing the skin, removing toxins and improving the circulation. It is good to do a facial steam once a week, but first remove all makeup by cleansing the skin.

    1 tablespoon chamomile
    1 tablespoon fennel
    1 tablespoon rose petals
    1 tablespoon calendula (for dry skin – substitute lemon balm for oily skin)

    Place herbs in a bowl and pour one quart of boiling water over them. Tie back your hair, put you face 10-12 inches over the bowl, then make a tent over your head with a towel to keep in the steam. Close your eyes and remain this way for 10 minutes or so letting the herbal steam penetrate you skin. Afterward, rinse your face with cool water. You can finish off using sage tea or sage vinegar to tighten the pores. In the winter, inhale steam from marjoram and sage to relieve cold symptoms.

    we did lemongrass, fennel seed, and a couple drops of chamomile oil and rosemary oil.

    I believe in Him!

    I believe in the sun even when it's not shining.
    I believe in love even when I don't feel it.
    I believe in God even when He seems silent.
    I believe!

    Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13

    Yesterday's doings

    Ok, I have been so busy! But I like it that way. Thursday was so much fun! My friend came and we made feta together.
    My friend gifted us with red curry paste and coconut milk. Not even knowing that I was making curry for dinner yesterday. Isn't that so neat! God knows just what we need at the right time!
    Here I am marinating the meat for curry

    Staying warm on the cook stove, curry(far left), mung dal (middle front), apple chutney(middle back ), flat breads(back right) and rice (front right)
    The feta that I made with Mrs. L.
    My brother is working on making some mustard sauce
    It is our first time ever!
    The seed is from our friend's garden
    In the picture the seed is being sifted
    Tomorrow he going to grind in the mortar and pestle

    Here is something that I read yesterday

    From Streams In The Desert

    by L.B. Cowman

    Broken Things

    "By reason of breakings they purify themselves" (Job 41:25).

    God uses most for His glory those people and things which are most perfectly broken. The sacrifices He accepts are broken and contrite hearts. It was the breaking down of Jacob's natural strength at Peniel that got him where God could clothe him with spiritual power. It was breaking the surface of the rock at Horeb, by the stroke of Moses' rod that let out the cool waters to thirsty people.

    It was when the 300 elect soldiers under Gideon broke their pitchers, a type of breaking themselves, that the hidden lights shone forth to the consternation of their adversaries. It was when the poor widow broke the seal of the little pot of oil, and poured it forth, that God multiplied it to pay her debts and supply means of support.

    It was when Esther risked her life and broke through the rigid etiquette of a heathen court, that she obtained favor to rescue her people from death. It was when Jesus took the five loaves and broke them, that the bread was multiplied in the very act of breaking, sufficient to feed five thousand. It was when Mary broke her beautiful alabaster box, rendering it henceforth useless, that the pent-up perfume filled the house. It was when Jesus allowed His precious body to be broken to pieces by thorns and nails and spear, that His inner life was poured out, like a crystal ocean, for thirsty sinners to drink and live.

    It is when a beautiful grain of corn is broken up in the earth by DEATH, that its inner heart sprouts forth and bears hundreds of other grains. And thus, on and on, through all history, and all biography, and all vegetation, and all spiritual
    life, God must have BROKEN THINGS.

    Those who are broken in wealth, and broken in self-will, and broken in their ambitions, and broken in their beautiful ideals, and broken in orldly reputation, and broken in their affections, and broken ofttimes in health; those who are despised and seem utterly forlorn and helpless, the Holy Ghost is seizing upon, and using for God's glory. "The lame take the prey,"
    Isaiah tells us.

    O break my heart; but break it as a field
    Is by the plough up-broken for the corn;
    O break it as the buds, by green leaf seated,
    Are, to unloose the golden blossom, torn;
    Love would I offer unto Love's great Master,
    Set free the odor, break the alabaster.

    O break my heart; break it victorious God,
    That life's eternal well may flash abroad;
    O let it break as when the captive trees,
    Breaking cold bonds, regain their liberties;
    And as thought's sacred grove to life is springing,
    Be joys, like birds, their hope, Thy victory singing. --Thomas Toke Bunch

    This is the cry of my heart.

        I see Him in the morning stillness

        Every morning mercies new,

        Fall as fresh as morning dew;

        Every morning let us pay

        Tribute with the early day:

        For Thy mercies, Lord, are sure;

        Thy compassion doth endure.

        Still the greatness of Thy love

        Daily doth our sins remove;

        Daily, far as east from west,

        Lifts the burden from the breast;

        Gives unbought to those who pray

        Strength to stand in evil day.

        Let our prayers each morn prevail,

        That these gifts may never fail;

        And, as we confess the sin

        And the tempter’s power within,

        Feed us with the bread of life

        Fit us for our daily strife

        As the morning light returns,

        As the sun with splendor burns,

        Teach us still to turn to Thee,

        Ever blessed unity

        With our hands our hearts to raise,

        In unfailing prayer and praise.

        The wool I dyed yesterday
